The extract of Morus alba is known to promote hypoglycemic processes and inhibit the absorption of carbohydrates and specifically glucose at the intestinal level, thanks to the presence of a component known as 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ), which is substantially similar to a glucose molecule that facilitates the inhibition of alpha-glucosidase enzyme activity at the intestinal level.
D-Chiroinositol
D-Chiro-Inositol is derived from Ceratonia siliqua, commonly known as carob, and participates in insulin signal transduction, contributing to the regulation of correct blood sugar levels.
